With close to 3,000 acres at Schmidt Double T Ranches, we offer an incredible experience for hunting quail at our ranch in Texas. We have dozens of water stations and fields managed to create the ideal hunt. Bring your own dogs and come enjoy hunting at your own pace.

What’s Included in This Hunt
We have two lodges for you to choose from for your stay with us when quail hunting here in Texas. You will be bringing your own flush dog or bird dog because this is a completely unguided hunt. Our unguided quail hunting packages are meant for the experienced, so it’s important to come prepared and ready for the hunt.
INCLUDES:
- Unguided Quail Hunt
- Birds and Land Provided for the Hunt
- Dates: Jan – Feb
- Times: Morning hunts begin at 8 AM -11:30 AM & afternoon hunts begin at 2 PM – 5:30 PM
- Liability Release: Read & sign upon arrival
- Alcohol: Not allowed until hunt is completed. BYOB
Unguided Quail Hunts Aren’t for Every Hunter
One thing to make sure is that you’re an experienced quail hunter with your own flush/bird-dog when choosing to book an unguided quail hunt with us. We provide you with the land and the birds, but the rest of the task is for you to accomplish.
